What is it with these guys in the morning, that basically crawl into a sink and start some kind of gag and snot blowing thing. Young, old or middle aged that is just some sick s&%t.

LOL !!! Struck me as very funny...I agree, Tired. I've witnessed that a lot over the years and I never did figure it out. Kinda felt like I was missing out on an apparent necessary bodily function of expelling unwanted secretions via the nasal passages. Dad never told me about that one! I always used a hanky.

Now you've hijacked this thread. I only hope someone don't step up and accuse old guys of being the ones that do this cause I've seen all kinds do it.

The best advice I can give you is shut your mouth and do your job. Respect will come when you become a real driver and the guys will tell you when that happens. It happened to me one day when I was getting ready to leave on a trip when another driver told my wife I was the only real professional he had ever known. It took 15 years to hear that. So keep your mouth shut and learn all you can learn. Become the best that you can. When you are the best they will notice.

Although I only recently got my CDL this past March I drove 26 years ago before you had to have a CDL.Got out of the business and went to work on boats.Done a lot of grain hauling on days off so I never got trucking out of my system. That being said I have mixed feelings about the drivers out there on the road today. They are neither better or worse than they were 26 years ago.I find it sad how drivers get on the CB and give a guy a hard time backing at the TS,figured they are the ones that parked 2 or 3 hrs.before cause they don't know how to back and get in while the lot is empty.
If I'm having trouble getting in a spot and the idiots start on me I've learned to just ignore them. As for respect it is earned not just given.

you arnt privledged until you get to witness the paki.s washing their feet in the sink at the ts kinda a ritual thing i guess--but it does lead into the "my dick is cleaner than the sink idea"

I don't know what these guys are but climbing up onto the sink for any reason is just frkn wrong. I said something a while back and the dude looked at me like I called his camel a name. I guess I should be more understanding of others. :biggrin_25513:

This is a problem I'm dealing with, more and more. Making the assumption that someone has experience, based on their age.

An older guy with ZERO experience could hide among the forest several years ago. And no one would be the wiser.

But I've noticed a steep increase in drivers who are just starting out, over 50.

    We all now why.
