I had issue with getting back to shippensburg after going to Lexington to get another truck. Most of my stuff was in shippensburg they kept telling me I will b routed there.well after 1 week and not eating for 3 days I told dispatch I'm not moving till I'm routed to shippensburg. He threaten to write me up. I got supervisor and terminal manager involved finally made there. Plus I also had to run paper logs because of divertec not working. Always cover ur but its ur butt that gets in trouble out here not theirs b safe

We made it in to Tunnel Hill but not without problems.....long story short....2 regens, draining of fuel filter, replacement of one fuel filter, 15-30mph uphill on small grades.....24hrs after we picked up our load in "Bugaloosa", LA, we pulled into Tunnel Hill with 4hrs of sleep under our belts.

Student is upgrading so she can go team with her sister (there are 100 scheduled for Orientation tomorrow which is why she's upgrading today)........truck went in shop, they did another regen which didn't help (have all kinds of faults), and now the Cummins guy is coming out tomorrow to take a look.

Doesnt anyone else wonder how they can have so many people running thru orientation every week when most of us know that there is no way they have the trucks or the trainers to support this???

This has to show that the rumor of the turn over rate being 400 + percent to be true. Does anyone have any other opinions??

Hi everyone I stepped off the truck in the middle of October, as some of you know I was running team with a friend. We picked up our truck the week before Memorial day 2011 with 450 miles and when I stepped off we had 82,000 miles. I enjoyed driving otr, but didn't like being away for 4 weeks at a time, and my wife's health. The doctors think she has some muscle disease, so until they figure that out being closer to home is the right choice. Right now I am back where I was before I started with USX. I still do yard work and also have been pulling doubles doing store deliveries. The store deliveries are all drop and hook. I am working on getting a local job not to far from where I work now. I am also working on losing some weight and getting back into shape, at least where I was before I started running team. I hope someday after my kids grow up an move out I can drive otr again and take my wife and show her this beautiful country. I enjoyed meeting some of you on here, and wish I could have met more of you. Take care and be safe. Lee

Good news made it to a terminal to look at my driver tech and now waiting for the shop to get me in. I hope the issue will be resolved. Thank you and I'm a very patience person but you can only take so much,.

Thank you and I'm going to take it like a champ. I refuse to be defeated and will not throw it in right now.

Talk about juggling hours. Headed to Kent WA to pick up a load. I will have 5 hours of my 70 left when we get there and I get back zero tonight, Anne has 5 hours left and she gets back 5 tonight. 2 days to deliver in Victorville CA and we can barely make it the Flying J in Lodi CA before we are going to have to sit until 12:01 AM on Wednesday to get some hours back to make the delivery. A VERY good problem to have.
