OUCH! Arrived at ECRHAZ at 2030 last night for 0700-1630 appt today. Finally ready at 1530. Needs to be in WCH, OH by 0430. Hook to trailer and begin pretrip. RR drive tire has a huge bolt in it. Pittston sent a team to throw on a spare, and the FM sent a driver to repower. Now gotta get to Pittston so they can remount repaired tire or set me up with a set of tires that match.

I must have done something, for the trucking gods are sure frowning on me! Maybe if I offer up a sacrifice...

8 hours? That is a sleeper berth break. Doesn't count against your 14, and a 2 hour break down the road resets your 14 and 11-hour clocks from the end of the 8-hour break. Gotta learn how to take advantage of the HOS rules.
