Looking for Employment and trying to get educated as much as possible, I have stopped at rest stops, truck stops, look on the internet and any place I can find information on employment.I see so much glamour! This gets me very concern. Things like RECRUITER what are they getting out of this,do I need to buy my own (Ky Jelly) or do they supply it. Look for a company on my own? What do I look for? Terms like per Diem pay, Quality Equipment, Work my way.All this puts a RED flag in my mind. I am looking for help to weed out the entire BS. (The Best I can) I am Going to a Career Center (Community College) that is a 6 week course and paying for it my self. I feel the easy part of this career is Driving; Getting to this poit is the hard part.
Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.
My hope is; one day to be the smiling face on the advertisements.
Hummmm Does the smiling face pay more?
Advise from the pro's Please! What should I do?

Use these forums to tell you who the REALLY bad companies are and who the better companies are. Go to the truckstops and talk to the drivers of companies that interest you. Remember there are no perfect companies, some drivers just don't fit into some companies but a little research goes a long way.
