I went up to Werner TDI last week and talked to a recruiter about getting trained there to be a driver. He explained everything to me about the company, and how much the wages are etc. I called back today to see if I got approved and he told me I need a co-signer in which I dont have one. Is there anything out there that assists you with the funds needed to go to this school, or am I SoL.

There are several other companys out there that will send you to school if you sign your life away to them for a year or so. If you are unemployed or disabled you might quailfy for a government grant. Check with your local unemployment office to see if you qualify.

Swift, Schneider National, PAM, USA Truck, Stevens Transport, CFI, Maverick, CRST and several other companies offer company sponsored training and most will not check your credit. As long as you are healthy, have a decent driving record and criminal record, you should be able to get a job offer from several of them.
