It took me a week or so to get the hang of it. It will change the way you drive for sure. I drive a 500 HP, 13 speed, so that helps with the mountains. Also strong jake's, so minimal braking down the mountains helps too. Some product will smack the heck out of you, and some wont be as bad. Depends on densidy, and how full the tank is. Strawberries ride pretty smooth, milk not so smooth.

A couple of days. It was nowhere near as bad as it was made out to be. What surprised me is that the way I normally drive truck and the way I have to drive with a tanker is not as big of a difference as I thought it would be. I slow down sooner when taking an exit, I go slower around turns, I've had to increase my stopping distance quite a bit, but no major changes really. If you know how to drive safely and professionally to begin with, you shouldn't have any problem adjusting to hauling tanks. Compared to drivers around me, I don't drive as fast as they do when I'm not on an interstate. But I've also never had any accidents, in a truck or a car, ever.

And if you come up on a curve and the yellow arrow sign says 60mph, your @$s better be doing 60 or slower when you go into the curve.

Aww man Just when it got interesting seeing you out west. You are going to be stuck in the east coast again. But I'm sure you don't mind. Keep you close to get home for Christmas.
