As a veteran myself I appreciate the sentiment displayed by the truck's paint scheme.

BUT, I too have to be a little skeptical if it's little more than a marketing ploy to attract veterans to spend their post service educational benefits with your business.

So, I have a question. Other than painting your truck (which could be a marketing ploy), how do you REALLY support veterans?

Which veterans groups/charities does your company support with donations of actual DOLLARS and/or TIME?

It seems that if you want to claim to "support veterans" that you would put your money where your mouth is and go beyond painting your truck to get potential veteran students to enroll in your school so that you can profit from their attendance.

So, what veterans groups/charities do you support?

Do veterans receive discounted training rates?

BTW, this can be construed like someone who is a "fake hero". One who brags about having done this or that; true heroes don't really feel the need to brag/boast about their heroism.

Like Bob Dole (a true American WWII hero, regardless of his politics) once said "Character is something that you do, even when nobody's looking."

So, if you REALLY and TRULY want to "support veterans" and are not just trying to market your company to them, GIVE to veterans groups and charities and don't brag about it. Rather, let the charitable organizations brag about your participation for you and you'll accomplish more with more class.

I think that you'll find that you might just wind up accomplishing both the goal of helping veterans while at the same time, attracting them to your school through your charitable giving if you give for the right reasons and not try to turn it into some marketing ploy.

I also wonder how supportive they would be of a Gulf War vet whose eligibility for educational benefits had expired .

Yeah, I would like to know of actual examples, not just rhetoric.
