This is also my question as well. I am worried about having it when going through training. And i have read that you change trucks every once in awhile. Does this mean i will have to have my inverter installed on every truck?
I just watched videos of a guy who went through with swift on youtube (yourboyethetrucker) and now i am pretty excited to get going with Swift.

I do know that sleep apnea was not a problem. I past and the compliance person at swift told me that I provided all the paper work she needed to approve me for a 2 year medical card. I gave here the sleep study and a not from the doctor that said I was in 100% compliance and my AHI was 1.4...

If you give them this you will not have a problem.

As far as changing trucks, I think I will just get one that plugs into cigarette lighter. I am not sure that I really need an inverter.

Ima bus driver here in MI, I know that apnea didnt use to be a problem, but now they require sleep studies if your neck is a certain girth..I had already had a sleep study done previously, and then had another done last year before my bariatric surgery..I am currently under care and have a letter saying that I am compliant from my sleep doctor..my ahi is 6.0 though..Im hoping that doesnt disqualify me..Im so worked up over every little thing that can disqualify me..im eating tums by the handfull...
