I Pickup at 0200 going to some place in Montgomery IL, then back to Marshalltown to pick up load going to Phoenix, I am dropping it in Greeley as I will be out of hours and I will finally get this truck fixed from where it got hit by road debris 2 months ago.

i get the great honor of babysitting here in plainwell, mi. got here earlier today. have a appointment in grand rapids at kenworth to fix my cracked passenger side mirror. and load isnt supposedly ready till "9:00pm saturday night"

 

On my way to a Winter Haven Fl Wally with a load of Monte Vista Spuds , maybe i' ll hide out there till Spring , JBS Snowbird Division .

 

Well the fuel solution was spot on! Pulled into the Petro right as my fuel light came on!

 

Guess what Doc I beat it the other day coming back from California 715 miles.11 hours non stop.Of course I was mt tooI also am a hard runner and turned in 7200 miles this pay period without a trainee.now I am out of hours getting a reset so I can head back to Cali for Weds.

 

Well got my load out of plainwell 9 hrs early. What a surprise, that's a good thing. So now I'm off to pa then jersey. Kenworth boned me on replacing the passenger side mirror. Was told friday that they could do it first thing saturday morning. Well I show up and got told he couldn't get to it today. Weekend dispatch say to pull out the duct tape and tape a new one on. Yea whatever. So I have a iptical illusion going on in that mirror. Maybe I can find a kenworth dealer monday. Oh well.
As for you guys trying to set land speed records. Just a piece of advise. Better watch it, you could get a speeding ticket. And also be yelled at by safety in colorado. I remember reading something in the lounge about logging too many miles. Just thought I would give you guys a heads up. Trust me I'm with you on that concept. But not at the price of getting a speeding ticket or having that dreaded phone call from safety.

funny how they think thats such a big deal drivers at other companys do 700 a drive period ever day but at jbs its a major accomplishment

Scooby Not long ago just before I came here if you only ran 700 a day you did not last long..
Most solos ran 4500 plus a week if not we found a new driver for the truck. Not bragging just saying not all the old outlaw companies are gone, some just went high tech.
