I tried that a few years ago in CA to remove my "Corrective Lenses". They wouldn't let me. They said I had to get a Dr. to do a form to get it removed. Did that and they wouldn't accepted it.
I may try it again...

Well so far so good... short runs, but for the most part we are moving. Which is better than what we WERE doing... hopefully we will get longer runs, but the 400 back to back (SoCal to AZ and back) adds up... I do like the communication we have gotten so far - that also is a nice change
-
I hear ya. Got a new DM myself and he actually answered me..

Our forth load with the new fleet... Total miles so far 1392 not counting DH miles... Started on the 28th... Mmmm...
-
Still not super impressed... 200 mile DH for a 200 mile load backed up with a 300 DH and the DM said she didn't know what a 'paid trailer move' was... I find that hard to believe... So we DH from Vegas to Phoenix... And the timing of it now made us late to the 'appt'... We will be getting there 30 minutes AFTER they stop taking frozen goods. SIGH... She is suppose to be setting us up for the weekend... But nothing set as yet... We might have to look for a different dedicated fleet... Not going to suffer because of THEIR learning curve (that phrase swiped from Celticwolf)...

OK read this entire thing took me about 14 hrs but had to find out what was going on with you 2
. Sorry about your trainer not being the tops Gary glad to see lady making good on her training. Sorry to read about the backing incident kinda shakes the nerves for a little bit.. I know that from being in your shoes
. The handheld radio thing works great for teams the driver doesn't have to look at the spotter but can still watch his side and listen to what's going on with his blind side. As far as the miles keep hammering your fleet manager remind them hey we make money makes you a better bonus. And them not knowing what a paid trlr move is gee. Try not to let it get the two of you down hang on for the yrs experience and if things don't work out let the truck go drvrs do it all the time. Keep us informed looking forward to reading more about team Klingon stay safe out there.
Lady K Thanks this. -
Yeah, I plan on being a squeaky wheel... Gary tends to moderate my squeaks, but I think I will need to be a bit more insistent!! We did lease so we are planning a 3 year commitment... But then God seems to laugh when we make plans -
Well we got unloaded without having to wait... That was nice. It was also in Sacramento so we got to have lunch with our daughter and grand
! We then got DH to So CA for a load to AZ... ( DH might be a problem )... Now the load we are on FINALLY has over three digits, however we will get to our 99 a full 16+ hours early, but will be unable to drop it for a local to deliver it... Not sure if I like that aspect of this dedicated fleet... We will ( by Klingon's insistence ) give them a month, to see how things go... I sure hope things smooth out and we don't have the 'down time' and 'DH' like we have been so far.

Keep us posted we r still reading good luck on getting more miles you're not out on the road for your health.. you can sit at home wish fleet managers could understand that about teams.
Lady K Thanks this.
