I don't like pilots for the most part. Liked it when I would be 12' wide and not over about 85'. Most states didn't need escort. Some of those guys and gals would blab non stop on CB. Delivered a lot of housing and tanks to Rifle, CO. Had a lady out of Grand Junction who had a good service. Needed them there. Lot of 2 lane and switchback roads through parks to well sites. Never hauled any of those 140' blades or really huge stuff. Would like to someday. Pay for OD is better and you don't have to try and run 7-800 miles a day.volvodriver01 Thanks this.

I've been really lucky with the pilots- I really believe that having a good one can make the day a lot easier. Especially on the little two lane roads we have here in Maine.Big Duker Thanks this.

talked to the recruiter today, they have a driver doing a layover at the hotel so he'll be picking me up so no rental car lol. Oh well
