123456 Thanks this. -
2000 or more drivers looking for work in that market (jax),
and they have to try to bribe them with a bonus...............
WTF.........
-
Call me a dummy but what's a pay to idle program???
-
You idle your truck,
they charge you by the hour.............Bigarmin88 Thanks this. -
Wow. Is that a common practice now, or are they the only #######es to try this?
-
They might be the only ones now charging drivers to idle but I bet they won't be the only ones by this time next year. If you live north of Tampa and you have experience and a clean driving record then do yourself a favor and check out Poly Trucking out of Grand Prairie Texas, they pay by the hub @ .45cpm to start because all drivers make the same pay there. I don't work there because they wouldn't hire me since I live 80 miles south of I-4 but I'd almost consider moving north a little if I needed a new job. I have a good friend that works for them and he has nothing but good things to say, check'em out and good luck.
