No doubt. When they were searching for a new dm in Denver this summer I inquired about it. Asked the starting pay and was told the base salary. I then said "I will stay OTR."

Funny, I think you might be getting a new truck. Who cares. I want miles, not a new truck or faster. You brag you know 8 others getting same miles, when the terminal manager says to yesterday calls me via phone call says its not true. I know a few others like me struggling including my trainer. May is not a bad company, there are a few entities that can be enhanced or overhauled. Breakdown and planning.
I appreciate my terminal, I understand they don't do manage appointments or dispatches. I do think the Dms should make calls for us to get appointments earlier if we can be there early.

unfortunately, DMs get far too much credit/blame. They are merely liasions between drivers and Logistics.

Not 'bragging' about how many I know, simply stating the fact that, contrary to what is posted on here, not everyone is getting terrible miles.
I truly feel for you and your situation, as well as others like you...Fortunately for me though, I am not in that situation. My wife, and our fours kids are also grateful for that, since I am the sole wage earner in the house. I can say though, that if I were in aless fortunate situation, I would not just come online and talk about it, I would do something about it. May is not the only company out there...
