I purchased a Waeco refer made to fit in my KW. Not cheap.
Never regreted it. Works great, has a small freezer (very small) but it's paid for itself many times over so far.

The plug on my Coleman melted. I've got an Igloo now, and it's terrific.

Slightly off-topic, but related to Road Pro products. I bought a Road Pro 12v vacuum cleaner that lasted 3 weeks and ended up in our dumpster. The thing had absolutely no suction power, and what it did manage to pick up got blown right back out into the air. I had to use a pair of my wife's pantyhose as a second filter to try and minimize the flying dust, but it really didn't work that well.

I too will never buy another Road Pro product again.

That's why I keep the receipts and packaging. I've bought to many things from the TS that die after 1 use. Unfortunately now they want the #### package and the receipt to return it. Nothing like a bunch of empty boxes lying around. I just put it all under the bunk. :biggrin_25523:

I just don't buy ANY products like that from truckstops anymore...It all junk, It's all way overpriced and it's all marketed to a (supposedly) captive consumer base.

    48Packard Thanks this.

Same deal on the road pro rechargeable spotlight. Charge lasts about 5 minutes and if you don't leave it plugged in it all the time it goes dead within a couple hours. I've got a Stanley now that works great.

The things I don't like about the coleman cooler is that it never shuts off with no thermostat, it did melt a splitter I had it plugged into, it doesn't really have any insulation around the door, and it eats so much power that it can drain your batteries to the point that the truck won't start overnight. It works pretty well other than that. For comparison, the built in minifridge in my last truck could be left running for three days and the truck would still start. Same number of batteries.
