well finally getting to respond, been running like a dog out here though for last 4 weeks. Was put on a trainer truck that drives on Wendy King's board. I know I've had previous exp. but man its been hell trying to adjust to this. Hard trying to catch sufficient rest while this truck is rolling. I have other complaints and grips but right now I just want to get this crap finished and over with. Tired of making someone elses wallet fat. Hopefully, once I'm done I'll actually have a truck waiting for me to start making some better money. Hey Chad do they tell you in the training dept how they want you to run the truck with a student? Like guidelines or what not.

Yes first 3 weeks you run the truck as a solo. Stopping at night and taking your 10. On my truck my student goal for the first week is just to get confortable in the truck. His goal for first week is 350 a day then we bump it up 50 miles at a time until we find his stopping point. I tend to work more on backing and PEOPLENET the first 2 weeks. Then work on city driving the 3rd then the 4th he is running the truck by his self. I will not run this truck as a team and I told them that. That takes away from the training. You need to call the training dept. If your not getting the training you need. Who is your trainer????FREEZERGEEZER and spat Thank this.

What they havnt told spat is that they have a special truck waiting on him, a 1972 cabover with one side of the windshield missing and a sleeper the size of a milkcrate.

RKD, you are doing awesome man. Thats what a professional truck driver is supposed to be like! I hope it goes as well for me as it has for you.

Q for everybody:
Did FFE have you take your DOT physicals and drug screen in home state, or when you got down to Lancaster?
Also, does anyone on this board have any heart problems?
Im worried that I wont be able to get my cardiologist to sign a "permission slip" in time before I ship out and FFE will just pack me right back on the bus...(I have a congenital heart defect and am just restricted from cardio activities).
