No, gotta remember that it just so happen it was different when they were rookies. BS!.. My stepdad drove back in the 70's through the 90's and I would go out summers with him, and guess what.. It was the same ppl #####in. What is always amusing to me is typically when I myself would see a wreck or Bad incident, Its usually one of these same ppl.. Small comp. truck that doesn't hire rookies.... But that don't count, I know LOL...
Stay away from ROEHL!!

Found out why they gipped me out of seven hours of detention. 1) I sent in the detention macro. 2) I called my fleet manager and told her about the detention 3) I wrote the times of the detention on my trip sheet.
Roehl didn't pay me detention because I logged the time off duty instead of line four. "it's policy" Where had I heard that before?
I did meet drivers who like the company. My experience with this company was just awful. -
Don't know who told you that but its not what I've experienced. I've been paid detention and never logged it on line four.
They will however not pay you detention if you send your empty macro before the detention macro. Now that is company policy as stated in the DRG. -
I'll take a stab at Detention:
If you determine that you are going to be at a costomer's locations for more than an hour you must call your Fleet Manager and report the delay. Our Customer Service department may call the customer to attempt to correct the problem and get you moving again. If you fail to inform your Fleet Manager, you may not qualify for detention pay. When you are ready to leave the customer, be sure to send in your detention hours so that the customer can be billed, and you can be paid, for the detention. Use message #61 to report the detention hours so you can be compensated.
You should be informed of any hand loading or unloading you must do in your load assignment or on a separate "load comments" message. If a customer asks you to perform this serivce and you were not previously notified, call your Fleet Manager before you load or unload freight.
Somthing like that maybe.notezbngrn71 Thanks this. -
I never went to line 4 for detention.. i know many say to do it but no one does.. I always sent a msg to the FM letting them know, then the macro, then in and out times on the bills.
only got screwed out of a few but that is typically what I did and it worked. I never went line 4. But that was me. -
I have had no problems with Roehl.. they keep me busy and legal.. I have not sat once.. I like to run and they keep me going.
