Guys, got an '05 W900 that rides terrible. I have replaced leveling valves on cab and suspension, set ride height to factory specs. When I replaced the suspension leveling valve it seemed to help for a week or so. It seems as if when the last drive axle hits a bump there is no air bag there. It's like a steel wheel with no rubber on it hitting concrete! Love my W9 but I don't remember any of the pete 379 short hoods I used to drive riding this bad. Any ideas what to look at?

did you check all the air bags? What checking all air lines coming the leveling valve. Sounds like the air flow is not cycling in and out right, i have seen new valves go bad in just a few weeks . Make sure there is no binding or deflection in the leveling rod and valve

sounds like a bushing problem to me. are the tires wearing funny? where is the sound coming from, if the sound seems to be coming from under your feet it might be cab bushings letting you feel the susp. recoil,if it sounds like its coming from back its probably the rear end bushings. You said its an '05 if it has more than 600,000 mi on it, it probably needs both anyway.

have not checked air to the lines. Do notice sometimes when turning or stopping the parking brake valve(yellow one) blows air. if that makes sense. yes it has over 600,000 on it, may need to check the bushings this weekend gotta do a service on it anyway. but the tires are wearing even, no unusual wear.

BE REALLY SURE ITS THE YELLOW VALVE.
I too thought it was the valve. I presume you do NOT have a Detroit - If you do have a DD engine, PM me and I will tell you what I ended up discovering....

If you dont have a DD engine, then this isn't applicable anyway.
