I've put in my resume to Fed Ex, UPS, Con-Way and ABF. No dice. ABF and UPS declined me for one speeding ticket that will be at its 3 year mark on 12/26/11. Con-Way is only hiring dock workers in my area and Fed-Ex I never got a reply back from. I'm not sure what else I can do.

Edit to add: Oh and Con-Way can't even guarantee drivers any hours. It's an on-call basis, not sure if this is how all LTL works, but I can't do part time work.

Thats how LTL is. It takes a while to get your foot in the door.

I'll pass then. I may not be an old-timer, but I'm not fresh out of school either. I need something quite a bit more guaranteed.

But that $75K won't be tax free. Even so, $100K is not a lot of money and it's a really cheap price to put on one's life imo. But I know OP doesn't want to hear it..
