Been driving for about 8 years now. Was with Prime fom Jan to Oct of this year. Was teaming with ex boyfriend on his lease truck. :biggrin_25513:
Anyway, we split, I came home and been trying to find a job here at home didnt really want to drive truck any more but I need a job.
I do not want to lease. Was a l/O at another company and that was a big mistake. Learned my lesson on picking a company that just depends on auto parts.
Anyway, ive been with several companies and Prime was by far the best. I really enjoyed being there except for the fighting with the boyfriend plus not sleeping while going down the road. I think I might have sleep apnea. Oh well, anyway, we werent in Springfield very often and when we were we were in such a rush I never got to visit with any of the company drivers.
I'm gonna call this afternoon and see if they'll take me back but was wondering about experienced drivers what the starting pay would be?
Not too thrilled about the mini trucks but oh well, if I have room for my cooler and there's room under the bunk plus an inverter and an APU, I can deal with it.
Would like to hear from experienced company drivers please.

Well starting pay is usually 34cpm plus 5 cpm in lightweight. You do not have to have a lightweight, I and many others do not. If they give you one at the end of orientation just take the keys and when you get to the millenium building talk to your fm and/or leasing office (leasing handles all trucks for l/o and company drivers) and they will tell you who to talk to, to get a fullsize.

As far as runs They keep me moving very well. I am happy with this company. We do have our butting of heads sometimes but thats really with anywhere you go. Even with the force dispatch I still get great loads and alot of miles.

    txplowgirl Thanks this.
