I was looking at them a few yrs ago, but couldn't remember if they hired where i live ( CO ). Anyway I've read some pretty bad thing son here but the posts are dated, I was wodering if they're any bettter now? How is the equipment? and so on and so forth.

DTC has not bought any new 389"s they were 386"s and they are EPA compliant to go in and out of Ports. They have rebuilt the Cat's on some of the 04 379's but are phasing out the older trucks....Dispatch does an ok job, the driver managers do not communicate, but if you like new nice equipment and the reefer business you will be ok, I DO NOT like the sitting around waiting on appts to open up. Dispatch think that everybody loads early and that is not the case in most of the grocery warehouses...You have to have a voice and communicate with them to tell them what is going on day to day

I could not agree more with you....after 5pm you have the shop...and they do what they can handle, I sit more than I am on the road and now that they have discovered the DOT and the CSA has them up against a wall they are enforcing a no tolerance and becoming reactive instead of proactive 5 years ago. They have bought 100 plus new trucks but if you do not have drivers in the trucks it does not matter how many new trucks they have.

Do u run reefer,Curtain side, flat??

LOL, what Company doesn't have to match logs to qualcomm? Might that waiver had come from drivers NOT matching them.....?? And I bet they have that deposit on the gate pass for (and I'm only assuming) drivers like ........F*(k it, I'll say it.....YOU????
I will agree a deductible for an inverter is a little dumb.............but maybe that counters the 10hrs that your truck sat to have a freakin light replaced? Really? I'm just hoping the light you speak of was the one on top of the trailer roof that lights up when you have to blind side into an alley....in Chicago meat market......at night......when its raining. Because, the hell with getting out and looking.

I just thought of it.. Its was the top right corner one, right.............the one you can almost just barely reach........on a flatbed! HA -
Irondog.... What u said about babysitting a grown man makes perfect sense.
I've been driving over 10 years and some of these complaints sounds like a lack of skill managing your own time and using common sense.. I'm sorry if anyone is offended by this statement but I would bet I am right. It sounds like this co. Gives u enough rope to manage yourself and if u can't it will end badly. -
Hahahah!! I cant take it!!!
