    It weighed 40ish. It was brand new from Oshkosh.

    Yep, they test the tank before shipment, so there is residual in it. Therefore you need tank and Hazmat.

    I can't exactly tell by the picture, 6 or 8 chains?


    You wouldn't believe this but theres a company that pulls them out of a local facility that only uses two chains. I asked one time and the response I got was we don't cross any scales and only going a 100 miles.

    This was a while ago, but it had 10 binders on it as I run 5/16 chain. No way in hell I'd only run two, even if it was 1/2" grade 100. I've had a HEMTT break a chain on me before.
    Any one know what the acronym stands for, something like Highly Expendable Mobile something or another?
