Agree, LS national account prices can be good UNTIL they add in the commission. England prices are better because they don't add the commission but they have to charge tax.

So I can shop for best deal at the 4-5 shops near me, not pay tax with DOT number and know what I am paying before I start the work.

Sure, problem is half of nothing is still nothing. Dispatch service is labor intensive.

Now I hear laudering drug money pays well.

I won't even joke about that down this way, although there are many store fronts that stay in business, yet I never see any business. Know what I mean:biggrin_2554:

.07 off cash at TA on average? That doesn't seem probable to me. I average .25 off pump price. The only time there's a problem is when they bet the futures wrong. Right now I'd assume the cost plus pricing is outstanding due to the drop in oil prices. I've seen over .50 off pump during times like these. I haven't been trucking since before Thanksgiving though. I got a decent 5.00 mile load(to the truck) to pickup on Monday, so I'll see then.

I have no problem with England offering what they do or you using it. I was just saying it's a good racket to be in.

You might also look into these folks-NASTC. I've never used them, but I'm still considering it in the future. I don't know if you remember Eskimo that used to be on here, I believe he used their fuel cards for his small fleet. Same basic idea as the wholesale cost + pumping fee that you get with the big companies. I'd already have done this, but I don't need to for now, and they make it a huge pain to join their organization, you have to go to a seminar at their headquarters to join, or use their drug testing service, which is WAY more than you need, and costs more than you need to pay too.
