Hello I just have a question for you all and hope you can help. I just got my CDLs on December 5. I have applied to two different companies and have been turned down. I know my work history is fine and my reference is fine. I do how ever had some tickets in my past. SPEEDING back in 09 and they said I failed to pay citation and my license was revoked, I showed where I paid them and had to go to DMV and have my license reienstated. Never the less I guess this is my issue of getting hired. Any companies out there that will hire someone with my issue? Thanks:biggrin_25521:

Do you realize how many applicants with clean MVR's you are competing with ? Why should they hire you ? Anybody that would hire you you will regret working for .

I think time is the only thing that will help. Like one poster said, if they hire you then you do not want to work for them. They will run you into a grave.

Did the company run your MVR and see that on your record?

Sorry to say, but most of the replies may be inaccurate. No offense to anyone.

There are 3 items you need to verify and clear. The first, and easiest- MVR. But, the DMV doesn't care about your DAC, or CSA. The second, is youe DAC. A report I disagree with, because they do not report on employers, just drivers. But, you'll need to get paperwork from DMV, provide to DAC agency with a request to remove erroneous info. Lastly, your CSA. Same as for the DAC, you will need to request bad info be removed.

Its time consuming, and tedious. But if you want your records cleaned.up, its worth the effort. You may want to ask a lawyer for help too.
