The New FFE Driver Academey

What kind of medical issues are people failing? Sleep apnea? High blood pressure? High blood sugar. I'm a type 2 diabetic is the reason i ask. I take pills to keep it down but not always enough to pass maybe. I lost weight while driving before 2 years ago, since you dont eat as well on the road.

 

My first few weeks with Werner 2 years ago, I could not even sleep. Maybe 2 hours at a time. It took awhile to get used to a shaking bouncing bed. Plus I think I was afraid to miss some scenery if I sleep too long LOL

 

Not the dreaded waiting for trucks again.

 

In my class it was blood pressure and a guy that had a vision problem. The class behind us had a guy fail for blood in his urine test. They look for sugar on the urine test, not sure if that relates to blood sugar, I've never had problems with that. Good luck.

 

Yea we had guys fail for sugar in urine. And a couple of people who had pre existing conditions that they "forgot" about.

 

Is anyone starting tomorrow? Sitting at the school for the night.

 

Red, I am not to start until wed, but I am going to be at the school early tomorrow to see if there is anything I can do to help others in the class, or if I need to get something I do not have with me. I hope to see you then.

 

i am leaving early. as in 6-630 am. don't suggest helping the others due to they are not fond of that. they want to teach there way you know. but if u are just driving here every day i don't think it would be an issue to sit in and just get a refresher on stuff as they have another guy doing that this week.

 

bummer, I ran this load a little too hard. 39 hrs early....2 day vacation in L.A. I guess.
