Hey guys been talking to a recruiter and she told me if I get on with prime I would be going to the SLC terminal instead of the one in MO. Question is what type of facilities do they have there? do they have a hotel and training area like they do in MO? Reason is I drove for about 2 years but haven't been in a truck since Dec of 09 just want to get at least a little bit of training and hope they just don't hand me my keys and send me on my merry way. One other question about the "baby" trucks, I know that the sleeper is smaller than the normal ones but is the truck smaller over all if so by how much? or is it just a smaller sleeper on a normal size frame? when I drove for Schneider I drove one of their trucks with the flat tops and it was a couple of feet smaller than the normal ones.

You are not PSD, so you will do orientation at SLC and be assigned a trainer. (not an instructor)
Yes on hotel...wannaBTrucker Thanks this. -
3 showers, 2 washers, 2 dryers. Lounge with TV and snack machines and a company store.
Free coffee. That's it on amenities.
Hotel and food for orientation is off site and I don't know the particulars.wannaBTrucker Thanks this. -
"Baby" trucks are a midroof with a short sleeper. They're a little slack on storage space, so you need to be a bit creative. Most have enough headroom to stand-up in, except for the Pete.
