If you notice week 6 there was not any miles. I have a bad habit of holding my trips and sending them in on the last day of the pay period and that week I forgot. So week 7 was really both weeks together. Yes I do get .04 per mile for 3 months for each driver I recruit but I have not recruited that many. I know of guys who have recruited way more than me.

Was just trying to figure out how that was possible. That surely makes since if your turning in that much at once. I used to run 3800-4300 sometimes and I would have to get MIGHTY creatative on them books.
Its nice to hear the company actually looks out for you if you find good people to come work for them, no complaints at that. Just trying to figure out how much of that was extra income vs no extra. I have been considering them for a bit now and talked with Boss back n forth a couple times. They do seem to be one of the only HONEST lease deals out there, and well, lets face it, those dont show up everyday!!
Keep the posts coming
They are VERY informative to me and others out here trying to find a place to call home!

So is ACT as good as the post that I am reading?
-
They are but if you live where it says you do in Ft Collins they won't hire you. We don't hire any further west than Kansas. I have not been in Colorado since I started here and they will only hire from within our main running area.Daniel.trawick Thanks this.

Good to know.

How many recruits would make a big difference in the numbers. Three recruits with a 3000 mile week would be $360.00, which would make the actual trucking income totals skewed. On average, how many recruits per week are you getting paid for, if you don't mind telling.

Agree 100% actual numbers compared to current posted numbers would almost make the lease payment?
-
The first couple months I did not have any recruits. Since June 1st I have had an average of 2 at a time. The way ACT does recruiting bonuses is different than most companies. Most companies give a lump sum when they start. JCT for instance gives $1250 but the way ACT does it is $300 when they start then .04 a mile for 3 months. At an average of 10,000 miles a month that is $1500 for a recruit. There is some guys here that have a ton of recruits. I know of one guy that had about 30 so he was making like $2.50 a mile.stranger Thanks this.

The numbers posted are my actual numbers. I have averaged about 2 recruits at any time since June 1st. I would still be averaging over .50 a mile without the extra pay.

There is not any reason that somebody coming here can not do the same thing. I had thought about quitting posting my numbers because they could be unrealistic for somebody starting here but if I am doing it why can't they? They will still make good money even without recruiting anybody as long as they run smart and get good fuel mileage. I get well over 7 mpg.
