It all depends on the company, some allow this others don't. it also depends on how far you live from your home terminal.
-
Yep. Depends on your company policy. Some allow you to take the truck home on your down time and park at your house, Maybe they will have a lot they prefer you to park at by your house. Most of these companies want you to park at the yard and drive your personal vehicle back home. Just depends on who you choose to drive for.
-
can you legally park a big truck at your home ????
-
It will depend on the local ordinances. Check with the town where you live.
123456 Thanks this. -
I do all the time....it depends on the laws in each town.
I usually leave my trailer at our yard but have brought it home sometimes.
I live 65 miles from our yard but get paid mileage to drive home and back. -
Wow,
that's cool !!! -
And also if you planing staying home more than 4 days, they might tell you to clean out the truck and drop it off at a local yard. Most companies don't like having there trucks sit more than 3-4 days.

My husband works for Maverick - we live about 20 minutes from the NLR terminal so when he gets in for home time, I go pick him up there and drop him off there at the end of his home time. I do this because we currently only have 1 working car and I need to be able to drive a mutual friend who is no longer allowed to drive due to cancer treatments leaving him with a 5% chance of seizures and also needing to be available to drive hubby's relatives around when necessary.

slipseating.... please let me know what company that is so i dont apply
i would rather have my own truck and not have to worry about cleaning my stuff out everytime I stopped home for more than 3 days
