I honestly wouldnt work for these guys again either. They are owner operated and even worse they get paid by salary.

And the hours are a nightmare on wheels. You start from 7 in the morning and you dont finish till 7 at night and getting paid salary $125 a day sometimes theyll make you wait till 10am to say oh they dont have any work for the day.

Thats no way to live. Ontop of that their trucks where very unsafe to drive the #### mirrors kept on tucking in the truck was in motion which created a hazardous view where i coudlnt see anyone to the left or right side of me. I had to keep adjusting it.

The spring or strut was broken on the left side which caused the truck to lean . And when they freight was loaded into the truck it would lean to one side even harder, which made the truck harder to balance when i went into a turn.

On the last day i was pissed the guy complained that there was just too much fuel being wasted and he had enough workers so he laid me off for the work. Which infact was a lie becuase he wanted to use the money to take his wife to the poconos and send his son to private school.

Well see you on the flipside what goes around comes around and it did after 2 week that they laid me off someone else quit and their truck broke down heard it cost 5,500 to get it fixed. yep god was watchin :whax:

No dought, They had some terrible dispatchers with horrible attitudes (not all were bad just a few)that talked to people like they were livestock. This attitude led to poor behavior and people leaving every week. This increases the turnover rate. They never contacted a drivers family after he got his arms broken back in may of this year.So what does this tell you?

Sorry to hear others(gearfloater, papasmurf) had bad exps with this "rag rag co." Heard 'nother driver call them at TS on the 55.
Know beating old thread to death, but wanted to give update/info. So DAC/USIS/Hireright had class action suit many know around 2009-10. I got some payback around $4K, and came in handy as between jobs. Suit was due to false info companies that subscribe to submit false misleading info on a driver that quits/resigns puts "terminated" like Marten 2004, and Kennedy, IL 2002, "unauthorized location" leads prospective employers to assume abandon truck/equipment. Note: like credit report that stays on record for 7 yrs! I sincerely hope employers learned after this major national lawsuit, to just be honest and enter accurate info. If a driver quits, don't be vengeful, put "terminated" or worse "unauthorized location" Employers/mgmt. should of been on notice since then.
Due to DAC, and large co.BS I gravitated to smaller cos. The last i worked for that used DAC was in 2005. I've had some issues of course since, but have learned not to get drawn in by grandiose promises, then of course letdown(pay, home time, equipment etc)
I cut ties immediately now or ASAP, I don't abandon truck(never have since started class A in 4-2001) but if not being paid, or cut, or equip, or not get home for request notice given well in advance like 2 weeks, i have the integrity to finish the load/run back to base where equip kept, then unload gear in my car, provide info where keys, fuel card, last BOLs are, done.
If not paid final pay i.e. in CA have to pay within 72 hours, no matter if notice given or not. Also deductions are illegal even for lost or broken equipment(can see on DOL wage and hour division, both intrastate, or interstate, state locally, or federal. It may take a few months to get claim, but can also put in for late pay penalty.
So hope helps some drivers, that you have some recourse/rights by law.
And any companies/employers please check my sources, DOL, may make one think twice before withholding a drivers rightly earned pay.
