If your OTR do you have half hour in a day to do some exercise, just wondering, when I start trucking, I wanna be able to jog for a good half hour a day, is that too much to ask ?

    Make the time.

Ive been driving nearly 5 years now and my weight got out of control. I weighed in at 371 at my physical in february, realized how disquisted I was with myself and made a commitment to change. I'm down to 285 now just by walking a half hour a day and staying away from greasy foods and sugary drinks.

    Make the time.

Not every day, but most days, as long as you make it a priority. Look at how much time OTR drivers spend here surfing the forums. You will have free time. How you spend it is up to you.

I try to do a half hour walking every day. As the weather turns bad, that's been limited. Which also hasn't done well for my weight loss goal.

You can make time. It's hard as you don't necessarily know your schedule a day or two into the future sometimes. I try to walk right before getting a shower in the middle of the day. Eat, walk, shower. Makes for a nice 60-90 minute mid-day break. Just make sure your schedule can accommodate it.

The best thing you can do for yourself, is to to take the first hour of every day, and exercise. After a few weeks, you'll be used to exercising at that time, and you'll never run into the trap of planning to workout later in the day, but then finding a reason not to once that time comes.
