I only went to cre orientation for 3 days, and they seems to be pushing for trainer way too much, recruiting with the big dollars one cane make and not so much on training new driver to be good drivers. Sorry you had to go through that.
I left orientation because I was a bit skeptical of the company, it was an owner op orientation, I guess that is why they were pushing for trainers vs teams or OOs -
Trainer = driving team they don't have to pay as much
and They need trainers to feed the turnover -
Report the driver to DOT. He's going to kill someone and then you'll feel guilty that you didn't. He needs to be off the road until he either gets cleaned up or winds up in jail.midnight_trucker_1971 Thanks this.

Hi Ranbdokuky, I thought I was the only one who had a bad trainer but what I am hearing we are not the only one. My trainer did not want me to backup either it confuses me. Mine threaten me because I slamed his door when he kept call me a girl I walked away from him but he could not stand that. He thought he was the best driver in the world. Then he would ask me if I ever did my girlfriend I said that was personal and I would not answer it. Then his answer was you need think skin to be in this job which I thought BS. He even threaten other truckers but they were long gone he was trying to be like Jesse James. I was never so happy to get away from them. Then I found out that you only need to take a couple of hours to train for what they call Second Phase. They had the same amount of time of driving. I think that is nutso. What they call second phase they are suppose to train you about the business like BOL and how deal with the customer. I am suppose to go on my second phase I am feeling kind of scared what if I get one of newbie like or another crazy.
The only reason why I have stuck with CREngland is they where the only ones that would hire me because of ADDHD and I know the reason why now. I am going to stick to it and become solo driver. -
To celebrate President's Day, C.R. England, Inc. is giving you the opportunity to obtain your CDL A for ZERO tuition* with a 6 month employment commitment. Usually a cost of $2,995.00, this is your chance to pay ZERO!
Guess they are running out of new recruits. -
CRE will blame it on growth
