well i was gonna say if you keep the lot lizard out the truck , you wouldnt have blisters on yer hands,as they play mss truckdriver , turning the wheel this way and that way,but i used milk udder balm sold in farm stores, non greasy and extra good for dry chapped hands, real good stuff $15 for 6 ounces i think.

OK, here is the true answer to both bowman and Injun's problems.
KFC. That's all you need to know.
Just grab a bucket of KFC to eat as you are driving down the road. DO NOT use napkins, just leave the grease on your hands. It will soften your hands, and will also transfer to the steering wheel, so that you won't get that chemical reaction.
Of course, after a bit you will find that both your hands are stuck to the steering wheel, but that is a small price to pay for comfort!

You won't find it in the FMSCR. These are STATE statutes. Washington is not the only one. It's just one notorious for enforcing their State statute and giving the added joy of writing for:
