PRIME drivers...What's your 20?

Question: Fuel stop is at Gary, IN. Is that a good place to take the 10, or should he plan on a different stop?

He's inbound to his 01 from Johnstown, NY to Aurora, IL. The 90 is in Buda, TX.

 

Never seen any baddies in Gary.

That being said, I always stay at the Pilot. They have onsite mobile security

Last time I got fuel at the Gary TA, there was a Prime guy (with fancy new KW tractor) parked beside the scales. TA security guy came around turned on light and rousted him. They have a security guy stationed inside the TA as well.

 

i did a 10 there and they had security. If he needs to fuel there do it on the way in. trying to get back to the pumps can be a bit tricky and if busy forget it.

 

getting loaded in plover wi. My appt for the 90 here was for 15:00 but got it done last night. Hope to get this to the 90 early as well to try and get a load out of ID. Americold in burley ID. want a load out so I don't have to sit over christmas.

 

Unloaded at walmart. At Pilot in Murfreesboro for 10, pickup ld in morning in Smyrna TN headed for Chicago area. Then drop tralr and off too the house.

 

Shop at CHDSLC... primary brake circuit seems to be leaking a bit much to me. Getting the shop guy to agree to do some work has been a bit, ah... "difficult!"

 

JCW is hunkered down in Gary, IN TA. Waiting until the 01 has the load ready (aka, if they have it ready early, he'll head that way.) He's an hour out of the 01, and then it's a tight schedule to the 90. Do-able, some wiggle room to play with, but not a lot.
