Gears will come in time...the more you shift, the better you will get. Just remember, your TE doesn't expect you to be perfect (watch how much HE grinds a gear...LOL). just listen to what he says to you and try your best to get better every day. Also, there will be days that you can't BUY a gear. On those days, you just gotta keep rolling and try to get better. Other days, it will feel like silk to you. Like BUTTAH!

Well the 2nd half Monday was driving. It was nice to give the brain a little break.
The 4th day included the morning with more trip planning and Qualcomm learning. Pretty easy to operate as long as you don't over think it. The afternoon was more driving. Again another break for the brain.
Found out today that the final day will be a day earlier, Thursday due to the Christmas weekend. All good with me.
Couple more tests on the 5th day with one last time before the wheel.
I'm real excited to be almost done with orientation!

It was a great help to know a little about something before having to really understand it. Thanks!

Well I guess I'll officially be a pumpkin tomorrow! I passed all the tests and all the driving. Yea! I'm very happy to have all great scores with no comments about needing help with something with driving. All it states is that I'm ready for the next training step. One personal goal that I couldn't break was to get 100% on any of written/computer tests. I was stuck with missing one on all of them. :p
I highly recommend signing up for the boots. I received mine today and they're a fantastic boot (you get to choose. There were about 6-8 different kinds that you could choose from), especially for only $25! And every year I'll get a new pair for free!
Tomorrow will be a little more paperwork and then orientation will be complete.

I've got about 10 pairs of their boots and i always get a new pair evry year need them or not however i do take 3-4 pair in the truck with me at a time. i don't wear the same everyday, and i like to have extra never know when a pair gets wet or worse yet covered in grease or diesel.

Just remember that anything over the minimum passing score is a waste of energy! :biggrin_25526:
