Trucking is a 24 hour business as we all are aware, yet qualified in-house support is under staffed after 5pm and on weekends. That is generally when events like this occur. This is why all students should be informed before they leave the orientation center of what the "IRC" number is & when to use it. It is the number one most important thing students should have to guide them properly to safe ty. Calling polithe police & having a report is good advice but I found even with voice recordings & my police report ,no one wanted to accept them & even my fleet managers boss was unaware one was even made. This exhasterbated the retaliation because the dots were not connected & too many loose strings of events rather than one effective manner to map out chain of events to the RIGHT ears. The Hotel industry is also a 24/7 industry where everyday potentially a new group of guests with a new set of problems occur. There is a system called M.O.D. "manager of the day" it is cycled, everyone has to do it & they MUST handle whatever issues arise in these after hours periods & be availble personally, even if it means rolling up their sleeves & making a guest room because the maid fell & broke her arm. This is called "teamwork" to get that room ready. There is also a log of events and incidents created in a flash report of statistics. Almost everyone in management gets to statistic report but a few key people are made aware of EVERY incident that occured overnight such as any report by a guest or of a guest of unusual activity....and there is plenty in a building filled with beds. By having this daily list compiled for upper management they can follow up in a professional was to avoid litigation from "having their panties down around their ankles" when they should have the occasion to nip problem trainers in the bud & eliminate those who assist them to cover up their misdeeds. The IRC number & a DIRECT HR number should be ON TOP of all the paperwork a student receives. Upper management must take more of an intrest in what middle management is doing or this problem can never be solved. There is too much retaliation that still exists when a driver does find their way to REAL HR depatment & often it is too late or a target has been placed on that students head rather than the group of collaboraters in the student fleet protecting one another. I have seen some of these dispatchers take drivers in the hallway & scold them for reporting their misconduct. One other thing I want to make clear is even with the CR England Woman who I posted a copy here on my page. She was not computer literate & had difficulty finding a place to use a computer. Later she got rehired by swift but they could not find her a trainer, in the interim of waiting she met a man & he talked her out of returning to the road & like many women I have met...he asked her to put the incident behind them & please not speak of it again. That is what she did.
very upset

I am a newly upgraded student to team driver, Had 2 horrible experiences and am now faceing job loss for calling them out on safety issues (Safety isnt my only complaint) I am surtain that the documentation I have (PAPER DIGITAL AND JOURNALED) might stir your attention, while my trainer with held showers for long periods of time, food stops were limited, I was forced to travel on top bunk with my husband (2 on top bunk, with no safety strap.) I know its highlighted to be illegal in the DOT book, I do not think the buddy training system is a good idea, and It might even be illegal, my trainer made us sleep for days at customer lots cuz he didnt want to put us a hotels, it was not convienient. I am ready to go postal if I lose my job for gaurding my right to be treated with respect and dignity. and to expect safe equipment, we were also issued a truck with red work order tag, and safety said its no biggy & sent us on our way, now we have been down for over 2 days in Denver not getting paid, and not likely to be home for xmas! SO I AM NOT A HAPPY DRIVER!!! Does Covenant care? Not likely,

I'm surprised they put you on with a male trainer. Knight doesn't allow it, thankfully. I've been accosted and talked dirty to by many female drivers. None of them were in my demographic. I was polite. Still, they were creepy and rude about it
Sorry to hear this happened by someone you should have been able to trust! Good luck with your future. Keep your chin up and for Pete's sake, press charges on that jerk. -

I couldnt do team driving, I have a hard enough time resting without 2 or 3 people in my truck. If it were me I would quietly and respectfully walk away from that situation, ASAP, go somewhere else.

I'm sure you have no records of "babygirl".

From the sound of the investigation by the OP it consisted of "Did you do it?"... "No!". Case closed. She was lying.
Anyways, what does a recruiter know of what's going on in human resources in a large corporation?
