If you get paid $500-1000 dollars for a driver lead that gets hired why not use this forum. Another way to make money from the cab that takes very little time and effort.

I agree guys Maverick is a great company to work for. They tell you just how it is on the road and why safety is their main concern. You also make good pay, but you are going to work for it because it not a easy job hauling coils, steel plates, skinny bars, wood, or pipes. They also treat you with respect and you are not just employee "123456". If you have any problems on the road as for as how to secure a coil or whatever, just give them a call and will be glad to help you with your situation 24/7.

I tried to send you a pm but being new I can't send pm yet. When is a good time I could call you about Maverick career. my # is 863-697-9523, Jerry

We like Maverick too! My husband drives for the Glass division and I passenger with him 24/7. So far, it's been fantastic. Really like the Little Rock location, free laundry, showers, truck-wash, mechanics, etc, but the people at the Laurinsburg location are super friendly..just not as "up to date" as Little Rock.

After looking at hundreds of companies as a new graduate and in my 50's I wanted a company that will truely be somewhere I can work till I retire. I'm in good health and can handle the physical part but am concerned about companies that churn newbies in and out. I was in Sales for two very large MRO companies and seen enough churning to make me loose sleep. It's not fun worrying about your job all the time. I'm waiting for my final approval before heading out for LR. Have high hopes and respect for this company at this point.

Im just leaving little rock heading home for the weekend before I go to glass. Mavericks securement requirements are way above and beyond DOT. If you do it the Maverick way you will NEVER have a problem. its been a tough 2 weeks but worth every second. They wont throw you to the wolves and if you EVER have a question they have a 24hr o'#### line. I only talked to one trainer who knew anything about glass, (Kurt) and hes a well of info. Youll never be made to feel stupid but you will stay there till you know what your doing !!!!!
sewerman Thanks this. -

My husband is about to start orientation with Maverick. Can someone please tell me if the training pay of $450 is gross or net & is it weekly or bi-weekly until his orientation is complete, thank you!
-
It's $450.00. Minus the $50.00 they give you the first day of orientation. And it's gross. Payday's are every Friday. And as long as you husband is a "student" he will make $450.00 a week.
