Buying a Truck

    What are the steps I next to take to buy a truck? I don't plan to run it until the first of spring, but I want to get the paperwork in order. Should I register the truck in my name or just get the seller to sign the title and transfer it later?

    Get a signed title (without the date) and have the appropriate form filled out for you state (again no date). In all reality in most states (as long as it is just sitting) even if you do it all with the appropriate dates it is only a $30-100 fee for the late filing.     if your not gonna run it till the spring dont buy it yet wait till right b4 spring and save thee xtra money your gonna spend on insurance and things llike that. you may have a better deal come along and if you have some1 trying to get you to buy a particular truck and say this deal wont be around this spring ask yourseklf why is he or she rushing me to buy this vehicle, dig deep
