Not in the tractor. If you can put it in the trailer you might get away with it. -
I think you're asking for trouble. Have you tried to use PM's or Simply Sleep? I think they work better than anything else and they're over the counter.
-
FYI, Simply Sleep in nothing but benedryl, read the label. Same stuff, they just charge 4 times the price of benedryl for it. Also, benedryl used to used as a sedative before it was used as an allergy medicine. My sister-in-law is a nurse in a looney bin and they use it to subdue the crazies when a doctor is not around to prescribe something. I take 3 or 4 when I really need to fall asleep. 4 will make me groogy in the morning. 3 works and I am go to go after 6 hours of sleep.
-
That's the whole point. The OP said he had problems falling to sleep and used a shot of booze to help him. The PM's would work just as well and be well within any legal sanctions. I'm aware what's in the over the counter medication because I read the labels and just used those names so it might be easier to find.

When I was hitchhiking around the US (when I was 17...several hundred years ago) I caught a ride with a couple gals from Chicago heading south to visit their husbands in the military, they had a "stash can" full of weed and the cop that ticketed the driver for speeding in Arkansas didn't find it. But today's drug sniffers would have located it in a heartbeat.

I am not one to judge, but if you can't keep alcohol away from your hands then go ahead and give up now
-
Probably a wise plan. -
TOOOOOOOOOOOO KOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!
But not for truck drivers and really not for any of us! I still like it however
-
Having one drink a night hardly classifies me as a raging alcoholic who can't keep alcohol away from his hands. I won't have any problems replacing that 1 drink with a sleep aid.
And yes, you clearly are one to judge. Thanks.
