Sounds like a company , that, I actually did lease onto . Their dba name was SLX. LOL. We sure get to deal with some real shadey folks in this business. Then when you try to warn people; they just second guess ya.

I also was leased to them, flatbed division. Good people, good company. Never had a problem with pay or their agents. I would still be there if I had not been offered a dedicated run that got me home during the week and on weekends.

A friend of mine just started on with them 2 months ago....so far he hasn't had any issues with payroll......it took then a while to get him his plate but other than that he's pretty #### happy
MamaLopez70 Thanks this. -

2. weekly loaded on your ComData card ($2.50 charge per card load)
3. 48 hrs after they receive your paperwork loaded on your ComData card. ($2.50 charge per card load)dboe197 and rocknroll nik Thank this. -

Had to respond because I believe Jones Motors/Jones Express etc... is getting a bad rap. Signed with Jones Express in April of 2010 under their mileage rate. In March 2011 witched to pertange rate. Under both rates I have always been paid within 2-day of Transflo BOL, delivery receipts, and trailer condition report, etc.. to Jones Express.
In November 2011, while coming through Arizona my engine quit. Jones Express paid over $2400 to have my truck towed back to my mechanic in Gardena, CA. After repairs were completed, Jones Express advanced me $2200 to get my truck out of the shop. So I believe you should read the book before judging it's cover or peoples misinformation.MamaLopez70 Thanks this. -
I don't think this guy is talking about the same Jones you are.

Thanks "allow me" for input on this thread I am considering leasing on and was just trying to get a little info.

They did me right, if I was going back on the road,as an O/O, It would be Jones Express, which is under the same umbrella as Jones Motor group, out of Pa.

I am leasing on with Jones express next week...I pulled for them in 2011 while driving a truck for an owner that was leased on there...I scanned my paperwork and The Owner was paid within 48 hours...I never had a problem with Jones, they always advanced 45% to my comdata card for fuel as soon as I was dispatched on a load and I made decent revenue for the truck, just that money went into the truck owner's bank account not mine...This time I will be doing it with my own truck and the revenue will come to me!! I had a good experience with Jones Express the last time and I look forward to leasing with them next week.
