I worked for GTI for about a year, left 6 months ago for a local position with another company. They are really pushing electronic logs. They are really trying to upgrade most of the equipment to new cascadias. all the new ones have a 1500 watt inverter, apu, trolly brake, suspension dump, applied psi guage, & suspension air psi guage. 10spd eatons...somewhere around 435 hp either cummins or detroit. trailers are ok, no air ride trailers. From what I herd, they don't take many students, but they are a decent company, with their own sthrength & weakensess (sp?). I like the way they run the quall comm macros better than how schneider runs theirs. They are not forced dispatch, but you better really make shure you can make the load before accepting the pre plan! There is no bonus structure. hope this helps...there are a LOT worse companies.

Pulled for GTI for 2 1/2 years in California. They hire a lot of CDL grads right out of school. Not sure they hire out on Connecticut though. Might want to check into that, I think their closest terminal is Indy.

Thanks for the reply -I sent them an e-mail and they replied the same about CT but I told them that I wish to relocate -way too crowded and angry over here in th NYC area -maybe Cali or Utah -would love to move to Cali cause of the bikes and hotrods.Would probably go back to being a tech out there though . Take care and have a good holiday , Ken
