    Hi All
I'm getting started as an OO and have heard different things about needing Occupational Accident Insurance and/or Workers comp. Can anybody tell me if I need this kind of insurance and where the best place to get it is?

    Thanks!

Since you are an OO, occupational is fine. If you have employees, you need workers comp.

If you have an employee under occupational and they are injured on the job, once the limits of the policy are exhausted, you become 100% responsible for the medical and such.

Under Workers Comp, the employers legal liability stops at the policy limit of 1 million.

Get in touch with your State where you're registered and ask them what they require.
