It's the wholesalers whom the accounts from which the fuel is loaded up at the racks that make the $$..not the store itself.

Anyone price grading and paving a 25 acre lot lately?

I would gladly pay if they have people to clean up the garbage, repair spots in the grass where ####### drivers tore it up and they ran a Sweeper to clean the lot.

You drivers are freaking slobs. I parked in the front row last weekend and it was the filthiest row. The drivers who never stop rolling don't have time to use a trash can. Many sub-human drivers from CA, TX and East Coast.

That sounds right to me. I remember years ago a buddy of mine worked at a little convenience store. he said it was someone from another company (not the one he worked for) that would call him up and tell him were to set the fuel prices.

You're blanket attacking the majority for the sins of the minority!

Your "experience level" shows 20+ years...think back before all the "young guns", non English speaking (several nationalities fit this one), all the "down and outs" from the unemployment office, the misfits that couldn't finish college (as they had no direction for their future), all the "down and outs" from the unemployment office....oh I said that twice, (wonder why)....

Came into the industry with their hand being held by the CDL mills, by the government, willing to work an honorable profession for dishonorable employers who would stick a knife in your ribs if it meant they could pay 1-2 cents less per mile....

Do you see much, if any, courtesy from driver to driver anymore?

Are you given the respect from these a fore mentioned individuals, for your experience, your knowledge?

How many times have you been asked to give your knowledge to help out another driver without even a "Thank You" for your time?

Does the "old guard" have any say in the better way, or easier way, to get a task accomplished?

Are you given any respect even from the "infant LEO's" in the coops, or out on the highway?....[not you dieselbear!]

How about the shippers and receivers...do they give you any "atta boys" for a job handled "Professionally"? Or do you catch their (shippers and receivers) wrath and complaints about the previous "young gun" that just crunched the corner of their roof?

It's a different world out there now...full of people who don't care about anyone but themselves and their own paycheck...screw the other guy, they are in it for themselves alone!

Oh, and BTW.....MERRY CHRISTMAS, AND MAY YOUR NEXT YEAR BE MORE FORGIVING AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE "OLD WAYS"!

    Rant complete! Next case!:biggrin_25514:

This sums up what is going on in america. But instead of pointing the finger at the real problems, people would rather just say hey charge for parking to fix things. When all that is doing is putting a bandaid on the real problem. All that does is allow for the problem to fester, because all people want to do is focus on the band aid instead of the root of the problem. The political correctness is killing america..

I liked the idea of a double charge on idiots who can't park straight, of course it would help if the truckstops could paint straight lines.
