LOL if I would have been any safer (or is that less safer)the 3 cars behind me would be filling out an accident report as well. I am sure they didnt like my brakes coming on rather quickly and me pulling over to the side of the road in front of them. this is a two lane road with not much shoulder.

Crazy day today, unloaded at Sam's Club DC this morning. Picked up another load and then dropped at the yard for someone next week. Just waiting to see if I get a Reefer load, FM didn't take me off their board, or an oversize flat load next week. Both pick up on Tuesday, so we'll see who wins.

So updating my adventures. Came out of the house late Monday the 26th to make it earlier for my Oversize load. Picked it up at 9 PM then did some equipment and house cleaning that needed to be done.
Took off at a little after 7AM this morning. Did my first load check after about 10 miles. Lost two flags! One off the front of the truck, pass Side, and one of the end of the trailer. HHMMMM The trailer I could see as I was a little leary of the flag location to begin with. The trailer slot wasn't deep enough, but the front didn't make any sense. Put the driver side in the same way and it was still here.
So stopped about 25 miles later at a trk stop to buy two more when, BAM lost a third one. You have got to be kidding me. Well, bought three and the greatest invention in the world, DUCT TAPE!Put flags on and added some tape. They haven't moved since.
Now sitting near Peoria, IL because of IL daylight running restrictions. Hopefully tomorrow I don't have any issues and can get more miles in. Delivery time looks a little tight if I can't make more miles tomorrow. -
Delivered! Arrived with 5 minutes to spare on FM's clock. And after all the fun routing, took me almost 100 extra miles, whohooo. That's an extra .09 for 1287 miles! Now the waiting game. South Carolina doesn't have much going on so what to do.....
