350 miles from receiver. Then hopefully down toward Springmo tomorrow.

10 at the J in Tulsa. Looking for an early afternoon arrival at SPRIMO to pick-up my permits. Then its on to Shelbyville and those wunnerful folks at Kroger.

 

Driving up 95 to Upper Marlboro, MD.. so not looking forward to the Richmond-DC section.. return holiday traffic is going to suck

I am sitting at the Oasis east of Springfield MO eating the best biscuits & gravy in the state. If you are passing by this place, I suggest you give them a try. Most of the dinner menu is good too, kinda like homecooking.

 

Did a recovery in PO-DUNK BFE Georgia, STINKY truck. finally made it to Springfield. At the Campus Inn. TNT class tomorrow

 

I'll tell you what, I have a new found respect for anyone that does recoveries on a regular basis. Nasty trucks and idiots to deal with. This truck smelled like cat pee. The guy dumped it in NC. It got towed to GA. I drove a rental car from home in VA Beach to Chattanooga then a $130.00 cab ride to Ellijay GA. I was looking for Burt Reynolds cause I thought I was in the movie Deliverance. Then to the Walmart DC in Conley then to Bentonville on Christmas day. Guess what, NO empties. So FM let me bobtail to the big house from there. Only 100 miles. I sure did not want to sleep in that truck again. I bow to FM
