I can only tell you of an experience my brother had with Flint going back prior to their acquisition of Transco.
They kept him super busy which is what he wanted. He spent a good amount of time at Norman Well in the Northwest Territories. However, he had some major issues getting his overtime paid for along with a few other individuals who worked up north with him. Its a little disheartening to put in 100% of your time and energy and give it your all to not be compensated.
The people he worked with in the field he really liked, and got along with. But management was a different issue - and they were not to be trusted.
This was around 2004, maybe 2005.
Good luck in your search.

Hello to all professional drivers.
I am going to make this short.
I got my CDL A in Feb. 2008 and hauled for an O/O until Sept. 2010 pulling JBHunt freight OTR. Sept. 2010 I started a business and continued to go OTR once or twice a month to hold on to my skills and for the extra income. Well, here we are at the end of 2011 and the economy has taken a toll on my business and my marriage.
I am seeking work in the oil patch. I have Doubles/Triples, Tanker, and HAZMAT. No accidents, no DUI's. I don't smoke or drink. I don't have oil field experience but I am a fast learner, I have a good attitude, I pay attention to detail, and I prefer to work at night. I'm looking for someone to give me an opportunity and with the wealth of information that I have read and acquired on this site I believe this is the place.
Thanks for any and all help, in advance.
Watch out for the 4-wheelers.

Does anybody know an outfit that will help an experienced driver get their CDL? Have experience pulling hopper bottoms and end dumps, just don't have the license. Looking to start in a month or two after I get cleared by the doctor (#### back surgery). Born and raised in ND, still here.
