FM got me good. Delivered this morning at 0600 d/h went and parked 7 hours later a beep on the qc a load! wait no, to the slc yard to grab a load and take it 6 miles, yes 6 miles. Oh and btw its not due till tomarrow at 7am. 24 hours total of 37 miles. So I asked her for a pp to get me moving after this crap run, and she ignored me.

 

JCW is at the TA at exit 18 off I-55 in IL. They sent a driver to repower his load...said driver got snarled up in traffic...repower cancelled. I should note that he got stuck at SpringMO while the trailer got outfitted w/ new brakes and tires, causing said delay necessitating the repower. So, now, he is set to deliver, if a little late.

 

I have to agree with you on the ''A BAD day in my cab beats a GOOD day stuck in a cubicle!" kingsson.

Dropped by the yard - no one around, but the chow was good. Said hello to my FM, and my old FM. Got permits and rolled. At the Fast Stop in Vandalia IL.

 

I think I'd be asking for a healthy dose of layover pay or a new FM. I hope "she" isn't who I think she is...

Perhaps you should consider that freight has to be delivered. We all take our turn at it - even you. Did you give her some attitude along with that? Perhaps that's why there's no preplan.
