    Found a good vid here.

    OK. My view.
    1. How do you not see a 53 foot white box in front of you. Instead of focusing on the driver, how about seeing if the lady was distracted on the phone. Sheesh.

    2. Driver should have honked horn as he entered intersection. I do this when I see pedestrians to warn them that I'm making a turn. A guy on his bike almost hit my dot bumper as he tried speeding thru intersection when my wheels almost cleared the turn. I did not climb the sidewalk. (tires cost money and I swing wide whenever possible)

Yep, the lawyers are in action. They don't want the truth posted. But want the courts to hear their twisted story so they can fatten their pockets to the max.

It's the drivers fault. No doubt. She probably had a "WALK" sign the driver should of yielded to. Pedestrians have the right of way.

I wish the kid a full recovery. But people, especially in the city should be aware of truck traffic turning. Everyone in their life has seen a truck track a curb. Knowing that, if the woman had more sense, she wouldn't be hanging her kid on the edge. Had she stayed behind the yellow caution, the kid wouldn't of got hit. That will probably be the trucks defense.

It sure didn't take no time to get the lawyers involved. Not even a week. They should be giving 100% to Sly. The mother is probably already dreaming of a new car.

Beyond that, if you look at where the tires are on the yellow, and she said her feet were run over, that would put the front wheels of the stroller in the street. Poor kid could have gotten run over even if it wasn't a truck turning. There's a big reason the blog went bye bye.

Lets hope its a college fund instead of a car....
And Lets hope the driver and the company sue the city, engineers, planners, street dept. and so on for constructing an intersection not large enough for trucks to make turns safely.
Now there would be a huge can of worms opened all across the country.

But, by GOD, every city and all the people in it (including us drivers) want our desired products on the shelves at the local stores.
It's about time that other parties take responsability for their part in hindering the truckers and mading their job hazardous.

Hopefully it will be a college fund. You know the lawyers caught wind of the news story and were lined up on her doorstep like a bunch of jackels.
I would say sorry, give me your card and I'll talk to you next month. Too much going on with the kid hurt and holiday's and stuff.

You are right too. Alot of city planning was done when trucks were alot shorter. Some docks/parking lots are proof of that. Cities are just as guilty not accommodating 70 foot rigs. The driver is guilty for not navigating safely through their mess and poor planning.

I'm no forensic investigator, but it looks like short cutting that corner is a common practice...
Seems to be quite a bit of rubber on that sidewalk.
