Hello,
I'm a wannabe trucker and want to work for Schneider National. I start truckin' school 01/06/2012. I have two speeding tickets. One in May of 2000 and one in January of 2004. Will this affect my chances?
Will Schneider consider hiring me with prior speeding tickets?

Scneider i believe goes back 5 years so you should be fine. As long as they weren't reckless driving i don't think they'll even show up on mvr after 3 years. Give them a call and good luck.

Thank you for the reply. One of the tickets was 15 mph over and the other was 9 mph over. I recently got my mvr and they're still on there.
-
Wow still on there after 7 years, well i believe schneider will still hire you. they ask if you've had any in last 3 years.
-
You'll be fine,I had one less than 2 years old @ 15mph over and a couple more than 5 years old and they hired me.

One thing all new drives should realize is once you get your CDL you need to protect it and watch your speed in both CMV and 4 wheeler or 2 wheeler. The CDL is your life blood with a bad driving record you will be pushed out of this industry fast.

it all depends on what it is for. I got a ticket in Feb 2007 motorcycle accident the ticket was in Chesapeake, Va and I was given a unable to control motor vehicle ticket cant go to SNI till march 2012 when the 5 year ticket drops off
