Go easy yall! I don't think they found them on Uship, they mentioned nothing came back about them on that site, yet they did say ITS has complaints agasint them so I'll give the benefit of doubt that they didn't get these guys off Uship, now if they say that is where they got them for sure, then I'll join in on the agreement of getting what you paid for.

Whether they found them on Uship or not using a "carrier" like that is an indication getting the cheapest rate was the main factor is choosing a carrier .

Well, from what I can read, the load orgin was VA and Dest was CA. Typically 2800, at $5000 that they paid, thats $1.78. It by far isn't the best rate, but by far isn't the cheapest. And it sounds like that was an LTL load.

It may be too cheap to go on your truck, but its WELL above what I've seen people paying to CA these days.

$1.78 including FSC or there was no FSC . Too cheap for anybody with ny sense . No telling how far they had to deadhead to get it or deadhead to the next load .

How about the fact that the carrier wasn't even checked out until the load came up missing?

Too cheap for anyone with sense? LOL!!! If you can't run a truck for that kinda of money and make a profit, then wow...... You must have one of those brand new trucks with a 3k a month payment or something.

People that think that is good money will end up working for a BFI like Werner .:biggrin_2559:

So I'm suppose to feel ashamed because I looked into a large company? Your right, no experienced drivers ever chalked up working for an o/o that doesn't pay well or on time or maintain the equipment and moved to a large carrier, your right, my bad!!

I'm not ashamed of anything I've ever posted on this site, so dig all you like bro! I know many of people that run a van for FAR LESS then $1.70 a mile and they seem to feed their families and pay their morgage. Is that a rate that EVERYONE would be happy with, no most certainly not, but for you to basically call any trucker out there that hauls for that an idiot, ...well.....I think you get my point! I'm sure you can't afford to run that brand new truck, feed your kids, and pay your bills all on $1.70, but I know I could do #### well for myself for those rates..

Yet again, a seamless comment has turned into a pissing match. Imagine that!! It's a shame people take the bad comments and run with them on here before they even know the whole story! I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt W/O knowing the facts first, but then someone felt the need to step in and start the name calling!

    $1.78/mi..great???..

Not in any way shape or form. If you can't run for upwards of $2/mi and higher, then your working just to pay expenses & not profit.

    RickG Thanks this.
