I feel for you man!
I would not even let that pig in my truck! Mine gets cleaned inside and out every weekend! The old lady said i am obsessed with cleaning the truck...lol!
When i used to pull for Nascar we had to keep the truck spotless.
Many hours of down time was spent cleaning the rig but we were on salary and got paid very well.KRAKAJACKJONSON Thanks this. -
One hit on the mattress issue , buy a good one and put it on top of the factory one ! Gives you twice the susp ! nothing like bottoming out when tring to sleep . Like someone punching you in the ribs !
-
It did wonders for my mattress. It made it about a foot thick when used on top of the factory mattress.
The best 69 bucks or so i ever spent. -
Can't imagine sharing a mattress with another guy, if it was my ole lady no problem, but don't want some other guys boogs and black curly's laying where i sleep
-
I am too used to running solo and sleeping in a parked truck when and where i want. -
When I ran team we both agreed to sleep clothed , just slid shoes off . Never know when you will one day get out in a hurry ! Reason little door in sleeper is call the escape door !(fire , etc )

EZ Money, who did you drive for in NASCAR, and why did you give it up?
-
The guys that are telling you it is alot of work are right. I team drove for the first five years i was on the road. You spend a lot of time in the truck. I was teamed with my best friend and we pulled six week run times. You have to trust the person in the driver seat while you are asleep. It is not something i would suggest for new drivers.

I think teams are the way to go for any new driver, but you have to really get along with the guy you drive with it for it to work. The first co I had in training was awesome. The second not so much. I found that I was happier, a better driver and making more money when I was with somebody I genuinely liked rather than not. As for the sleeping in a moving truck, I actually slept so well it was crazy. My head would hit the pillow and i'd be out for hours uninterrupted. I guess it just depends on the individual though, cuz I know people who absoultely cannot sleep in a moving truck and walk around like zombies all day everyday
