Haven't seen or heard anything new on these guys, recently saw an ad here in the Portland, OR. area on craigslist... Seem's pretty good, sadly, I know that too good to be true means it is. The ad I'll copy below, I wonder what the catch is?

Do they run paper logs? Or, are they E-Log?

    Here we are:

    Make 2012 Better Than 2011!!

The economic recovery is here! K&B Transportation has miles! Enough miles that we can guarantee our company drivers a minimum of 2500 paid miles per week! Basically, if you don't run 2500 miles in a week, we will pay you the difference! Where else can a 2000 mile week get you paid for 2500? If you couple this with our 38 cents per mile starting wage, our guarantee works out to $950 per week minimum! The $950 is just your minimum, as company drivers are averaging 2700-3000 miles per week, easily topping there $950 minimum!

On top of our guarantee, we also offer:
    *National Fleet--Limited Northeast
*40 Cents Per Mile After 90 Days! $1000 Per Week Guaranteed
    *APU Equipped Tractors
    *Blue Cross/Blue Shield Benefits
    *No Hazmat Required!

Got one years OTR experience? Want to find out more? Call us at (800) 851-8651 or apply online at www.kbtransportation.com.

Don't know anything about them but when I see they said "guarantee",I see red flags.Sounds like a sales pic and any trucking company who post on C.L,also a red flag also.Just my 2 cents.

    No proof reading either!

If you can't spell simple words in a company recruiting ad...that's a "red flag".

im not so sure its the trucking companies posting ads on craigslist..the recruiters are paid by the number of butts they put behind the wheel and their probably the ones posting the ads..its cheap(free) and usually yeild good results...

I think their ad also states that if you don't run enough miles to hit your guaranteed

$950 per week, they will pay you the difference ?

    That's a lot of guarantees , I hope it's in black & white , dated and signed.
